Public Speaking 201: Mastering the Two-Minute Speech
This is your student's chance to meticulously practice the essential skills learned in Public Speaking 101. They will first get to choose a children's story to bring to life via performance. Later, they will choose one, two-minute speech -- or they are welcome to bring a speech from real life (ie: a student council speech, school presentation, etc.) -- to work on for the remaining weeks. We will also continue with exercises that we worked on in Public Speaking 101. Students will receive detailed, real-time feedback and will also be recorded so they can learn not just from me but also from self-reflection.

Then, we’ll write, practice, and deliver our speech. This class focuses on repetition as a means for memorizing content*, eliminating bad habits and implementing successful ones.
*Memorization is not expected nor required for this class.
